Perkuat akar pemahaman peran perempuan dalam kehidupan sosial, Pengurus Pergerakan Mahasiswa Islam Indonesia (PMII) Rayon \u201cPenggerak\u201d Gajah Mada (RPGM) Komisariat Raden Rahmat Malang, resmi mengadakan kegiatan Kaderisasi Sekolah Islam Gender (SIG) pada hari sabtu (17\/01) hingga minggu (18\/01) bertempat di SDN Karongsuko, Kecamatan Gondanglegi, Kabupaten Malang.<\/p>\n

Acara ini dihadiri oleh beberapa pemateri handal, seperti mantan Ketua Umum Korps Pergerakan Mahasiswa Islam Indonesia Putri (KOPRI) PMII Kab. Malang 2024-2025, Mantan Ketua Umum PMII Kabupaten Malang 2023-2024 dan Tenaga Ahli (TA) Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Republik Indonesia (DPR RI) komisi XI.<\/p>\n

Hotib, selaku mantan Ketua Umum PMII Kabupaten Malang 2023-2024\u00a0 yang pada kesempatan tersebut menjadi salah satu pemateri Pengenalan Dasar Perempuan dalam Politik, menekankan pentingnya kaum muda, khususnya perempuan, untuk memahami politik dan terlibat aktif di dalamnya.<\/p>\n

\u201cSangat penting bagi kaum muda, khususnya perempuan, untuk memahami dan terlibat aktif dalam dunia politik. Tanpa keterlibatan aktif, kalian akan tertinggal, tidak hanya dalam hal pengetahuan, tetapi juga dalam memperjuangkan aspirasi sebagai perempuan,\u201d ujarnya hotib.<\/p>\n

Ia juga menjelaskan bahwa gerakan perempuan pertama kali secara politik dilakukan pada tahun 1928 melalui Kongres Perempuan di Yogyakarta. Melalui gerakan tersebut, gagasan kesetaraan gender mulai dikemukakan dan disebarluaskan ke seluruh pelosok Nusantara pada masa itu.<\/p>\n

Pria yang pernah menjabat sebagai Ketua PC PMII Kabupaten Malang tersebut menambahkan bahwa keterlibatan perempuan dalam politik tidak harus selalu dalam politik praktis, tetapi juga dapat melalui politik nilai.<\/p>\n

\u201cSaya menyarankan agar aktif dalam politik tidak harus selalu dalam politik praktis. Perempuan juga bisa berperan sebagai penggerak dalam politik nilai, misalnya melalui organisasi yang bergerak di bidang aspirasi dan pemberdayaan perempuan,\u201d ungkap Hotib.<\/p>\n

Hotib menegaskan, bahwa keterwakilan perempuan dalam jajaran pemangku kebijakan menjadi hal penting, karena melalui keterlibatan tersebut perjuangan aspirasi perempuan dalam ruang kebijakan akan lebih mudah diwujudkan.<\/p>\n

\u201cPerlu adanya keterwakilan perempuan dalam jajaran pemangku kebijakan. Dengan begitu, perjuangan aspirasi perempuan dalam ruang kebijakan akan lebih mudah diwujudkan,\u201d Pungkasnya, (S\/18\/01\/2026).<\/p>\n
